(Medford, MA January 3, 2023) – PolyBio Research Foundation announces that Michael Brown has joined its team as Senior advisor. Brown boasts tremendous non-profit management experience. He served as Principal at Public Purpose Strategies with 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, social entrepreneurship, and policy development. In 1988, Michael co-founded City Year, a leading national service organization that served as an inspiration for AmeriCorps, the federal initiative through which more than one million Americans have served their country.
He now provides guidance to the PolyBio team on maximizing its non-profit management and outreach. “Michael’s willingness to guide PolyBio free of charge because he believes so deeply in our mission is nothing short of incredible,” says PolyBio President and Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Amy Proal. “His feedback motivates me to work harder than ever to change the lives of patients with Long COVID, ME/CFS and related complex conditions.”
Michael is advising PolyBio pro bono due to his deep support of the Organization’s mission and values. “PolyBio is delving into LongCovid, LongLyme and other chronic disease mechanisms in an unprecedented fashion, says Brown. “I am happy to dedicate my time towards such an important and urgent mission.”
